Most Common TMJ Symptom Causes:
Many of these symptoms can be caused by other conditions. One of the biggest causes of a lot of these symptoms and TMJ syndrome itself; is bad posture. This causes stiffness and tightness in the muscles, which in turn affect muscles around it because everything is connected. What you end up with is muscles being overworked, which causes pain in your jaw.
The most common TMJ symptoms that are directly related to the condition are teeth grinding, jaw clenching and jaw pain. If you’re suffering from these symptoms there’s a high chance you have TMJ.
