2. If your jaw shifts to the side, focus on opening and closing your mouth while being careful to make sure that it lines up right and doesn’t shift. Repeat this several times, but don’t over do it. Listen to the pain.
3. If you are experiencing a lot of tension in your jaw, stretching exercise are an effective way to help. Open you jaw slowly as wide as the discomfort will allow and close again slowly. Repeating this should help with the tension.
